DeepL powers high-quality AI translations in Elovate. Before you can use it in translation jobs, you’ll need to connect your DeepL account to Elovate.
1) Get your DeepL API key
Go to deepl.com and sign in or create an account.
Choose a plan:
DeepL API Free — monthly character limit.
DeepL API Pro — higher limits and extra features.
In your DeepL account, go to your Account or Plan page.
Copy your Authentication key (this is your API key).
Keep your API key private — treat it like a password.
2) Add the key to Elovate
In Elovate, go to Settings → Integrations.
Find DeepL and click Add token.
Paste your Authentication key into the field.
Click Save.
3) Confirm the connection
Once saved, DeepL will appear as an available translation provider in Apps → Translations → Settings.
If the key is invalid, Elovate will prompt you to re-enter it.
