Navigating and editing pages

Your Magento pages, loaded in Elovate, where editing is effortless.

Updated this week

Everyone has pages in Magento, even when using third-party extensions. These pages are loaded directly into Magento, allowing for seamless navigation and editing.

Access the pages overview directly via this link: https://app.elovate.io/pages

Filters Within the Pages Overview

On the pages overview, you can easily filter between pages by name. Unlike other sections, the pages overview does not have a store switcher. Pages function differently, even though they are store view-specific. This means that if you have a German store, you must search directly for the German page version.

Columns in the Pages Overview

The pages overview includes the following columns:

  • Name – The title of the page

  • Identifier – The unique identifier used for URLs

  • Store – The store or store view the page belongs to

  • Created at – The date the page was created

  • Updated at – The date the page was last updated

  • Status – Whether the page is enabled or disabled

Editing a Page

To edit a page, simply click on the page name. This action opens the page editing screen, where you can modify the following fields:

  • Title – The main title of the page

  • Content Heading – The heading displayed at the top of the content

  • Content – The main body of the page

  • URL Key – The part of the URL that identifies the page

  • Meta Title – The title displayed in search engines

  • Meta Keywords – Keywords relevant to the page content

  • Meta Description – A brief description used by search engines

Once edits are complete, don't forget to Save & Close or Save & Continue to apply your changes.

Third-Party Extensions

There are many popular third-party vendors that offer blog and page solutions for Magento. Some of the most widely used include Amasty and MageFan.

Currently, Elovate does not support editing or loading entities from third-party extensions. As a result, blogs or pages created through these extensions cannot be translated within Elovate.

However, there are workarounds available. You can run a script to transform third-party extension blogs and pages into Magento-native blogs/pages. This allows them to be edited and managed directly in Elovate.
