Many Magento stores carry a large number of unused, legacy, or migrated attributes. Manually removing them can be tedious and time-consuming. With Elovate’s Exclude Attributes feature, you can quickly hide attributes you don’t need — making your workspace cleaner and more user-friendly.
Why use attribute exclusion?
Declutter your attribute list for easier navigation
Prevent confusion by hiding outdated or unused fields
Speed up your workflows by focusing only on relevant attributes
How to exclude attributes
Go to: Elovate settings
Click on Excluded Attributes in the left-hand menu
Select the attributes you want to hide from Elovate
Save your changes
Once excluded, these attributes are removed from the API feed — meaning they will no longer appear anywhere in Elovate.
Re-adding attributes
If you later decide you need an excluded attribute again:
Return to Excluded Attributes in settings
Deselect the attribute
Wait for the next product import (usually ~30 minutes) for the attribute to reappear
Tip: More information on how Magento imports work can be found here.
Important notes
Excluded attributes are hidden globally in Elovate — they won’t be visible to any team member
This feature does not delete attributes from Magento; it only removes them from Elovate’s view
Changes take effect after the next API sync
