How can I check my remaining credits?

Currently, Elovate does not provide a built-in credit balance tracker for AI or translation usage. Your remaining credits need to be checked directly in your provider account — either ChatGPT (OpenAI) or DeepL — depending on which service you are using for your jobs.


1. For ChatGPT (OpenAI)

  • Log into your OpenAI account.

  • Go to Usage in the left-hand menu.

  • Here you can see:

    • Your total token usage for the current billing cycle.

    • Remaining credits if you’re on a prepaid plan.

    • Historical usage per day, which is helpful to identify high-usage jobs.


2. For DeepL

  • Log into your DeepL account.

  • Go to Usage statistics in your account dashboard.

  • You’ll see:

    • Your used character count for the month.

    • Your total monthly character limit.

    • Renewal date for your quota.


3. Tips for managing credits

  • Check your provider’s usage dashboard before starting large jobs to ensure you have enough credits.

  • If you run out mid-job, Elovate will show provider errors (e.g., “token limit reached” or “insufficient characters”).

  • For continuous jobs, periodically check your provider account to ensure you’re not consuming credits faster than expected.
