When creating an export job in Elovate, you can decide whether or not to include product images in your export file. This is useful when you want a faster export without large image data, or when your use case specifically requires image-related information.
Exporting products with images
Go to Apps → Import / Export → Export.
Click Add new export job.
Set your filters, rules, and select your desired attributes.
Make sure to include the relevant image attributes (e.g.,
base_image,small_image,thumbnail,media_gallery).Run the export — your file will contain product information along with image file paths or URLs.
Exporting products without images
Create an export job as usual.
When selecting attributes, simply skip any image-related fields.
The export will run faster and produce a smaller file size, especially useful for large product catalogs.
Why choose one over the other?
With images: Ideal when you need visual content for marketplaces, design work, or audits.
Without images: Better for quick data updates, bulk edits, or when working with external partners who don’t require images.
