Previewing enriched content

Learn how to preview, review, and approve enriched content in Elovate before syncing to Magento.

When you can start previewing

You can start previewing items as soon as a job status changes from "Generating" to "Processing".

  • While the job is still Generating, some items may already appear for preview, but more can still be added as the generation continues.

  • Once all items are generated, the status will remain Processing until they are completed and approved.

How to preview an item

  1. Go to your job list and select the relevant job.

  2. Open an item from your Editor Tasks view.

  3. You will see:

    • Description (or other content generated for enrichment)

    • Live URL

      • If the live URL gives an error, check if it needs a suffix like .html.

      • To add a suffix:

        • Go to General settings → Settings → Connection settings

        • Press Edit for the store giving the error

        • Fill in the required suffix in the appropriate field (e.g., .html for category URLs)

        • Save changes

    • Editor(s)

    • Status

    • Last edited date

    • Last synced date

    • Source & target store

    • SKU (for products)

    • All selected attributes for preview

Actions available in preview

  • Skip element → Auto-completes the item and removes it from the list without editing.

  • View original content → Shows the original Magento content for comparison.

  • Add comment → Leave notes for editors or moderators.

  • Regenerate with AI → Available only if AI actions are enabled for the job.

  • Public new contact at → Communication field for additional context.

Saving and approving content

  • Save → Saves your change and stays on the same item.

  • Save and next → Saves your change and moves to the next product, category, or custom page in the list.

  • Approve → Sends the item’s content to Magento (moderator action).

  • Approve and next → Sends to Magento and automatically loads the next item (moderator action).

Editor & moderator permissions

  • Editors only → Can edit but cannot bulk approve unless they are also moderators.

  • Editors + moderators assigned → Only moderators can approve and push to Magento.

  • Editor = moderator (same user) → Full permissions, including bulk approval from the moderation view.

By following these steps, you can efficiently review, edit, and approve enriched content before it goes live in Magento.
