1) What are predefined templates?

Predefined templates in Elovate are ready-made attribute selections that you can apply to a content enrichment job. They save time when you regularly work with the same set of attributes, ensuring consistency across multiple jobs.

These templates are created and managed in General settings → Product templates.
Although originally designed for export, they can also be applied in content enrichment jobs.

2) How to use a predefined template in content enrichment

  1. Go to Apps → Content enrichment.

  2. Click Add new job.

  3. Fill in the basic job details (name, type: products, categories, or custom pages, and store view).

  4. In the attributes selection step, open the dropdown Load attributes from a product template.

  5. Choose your desired template.

  6. All attributes saved in that template will instantly load into the enrichment job.

3) Why use predefined templates?

  • Save time: No need to manually search and select attributes every time.

  • Maintain consistency: Always work with the same attribute set for similar jobs.

  • Easier onboarding: New team members can start enrichment jobs with the correct attributes without guessing.

4) Tips

  • Use descriptive names for templates (e.g., Product – SEO attributes or Category – Marketing copy) so your team can quickly identify them.

  • If you find yourself repeatedly selecting the same attributes for enrichment jobs, create a template once and reuse it.
