Supported entities for translation in Elovate

Elovate’s translation module allows you to translate a wide range of Magento content, ensuring your store is ready for multiple languages and markets. Whether you are localizing product information or adapting CMS content, Elovate streamlines the process.

1. Products

Translate all product-related attributes, such as:

  • Product name

  • Short and long descriptions

  • Meta titles and descriptions

  • Custom attributes (text, textarea, dropdown, etc.)

  • URL keys (if configured in your translation settings)

You can choose to exclude certain attributes from translation when creating your translation settings.

2. Categories

Translate category-level content, including:

  • Category name

  • Description

  • Meta titles and descriptions

  • URL keys

3. Attributes

Translate attribute labels and options to ensure consistency across your store. This is particularly useful for multilingual dropdowns and layered navigation filters.

4. CMS pages

Translate full CMS pages to ensure your store’s static content is localized. This includes:

  • Page titles

  • Content blocks within the page

  • Meta titles and descriptions

5. CMS blocks

Translate reusable CMS blocks, ensuring all marketing content, banners, and informational sections are available in multiple languages.

6. Magefanblog posts

If you use the Magefan Blog extension, Elovate fully supports translation of blog content:

  • Post titles

  • Blog content

  • Meta data

  • URL keys

Important notes

  • Media and media attributes are not translated — images, videos, and related metadata remain unchanged.

  • Translation is available via manual, AI-assisted, or fully automated workflows.

  • The entities you can translate depend on your subscription and the permissions configured in Translation Settings.
